This intermediate course is recommended for improvisers with more experience looking to strengthen their onstage performance skills.

This six week course is more of a deep-dive into the performance aspects of improvisational comedy and storytelling. Concepts from the Beginner Improv course are reinforced, but approached with a tighter focus and attention to detail. 

Through fun games and hilarious exercises, this class focuses heavily on:

—STORY STRUCTURE

—SCENE PAINTING AND TRANSITIONS

—MID-FORM SCENES

Aside from the normal benefits of improv, participants will also notice an improved ability to create cohesive stories and complex characters. They will improvise with more confidence, make bolder decisions more decisively, and listen more intently. 

After the course, students will have the chance to play in the optional-but-encouraged graduation performance.
